Our brain is under the constant influence of the ever expanding world of modern technology. Modern technology has changed the civilization in many ways and has made life a lot easier than it used to be. Especially in the 20th and 21st-century humans have made a number of technological advancements that revolutionized the way people think, work live or play. These have become such an integral part of our lives that imagining our life without them is just not possible! For example internet, we cannot spend a single day without internet.
I would like to talk about the booming industry of e-shopping or electric commerce. I mean who wants things to be delivered to his/her doesn’t place just by simply clicking on it. It allows the consumers t directly buy goods or services from the seller through the internet. It gives the consumer a wide range of variety and also allows them to compare the price of the same goods being sold by the different seller and buy the cheapest one. Now that there are thousands of online stores the prices are getting more competitive, both in the online stores as well as their offline counter parts .One of the best benefits of online shopping is that it is quick. People with tight schedule do not have to take time to go out and buy the things they instead what they need is just a touch away. Consumers do not have to worry about the availability of the product they need. There is a possibility that they go to a store but the product they need is out of stock which is not true in case of online shopping.
On one side where online shopping seems to have endless number of advantages it also has some disadvantages. Sometimes the delivery charges for cheap product are also high. The consumers don’t get to see what they are buying, specially for clothes its difficult to judge the material of the cloth by its picture. It doesn’t serve your purpose when you need the product instantly or in a short period of time as it will take the stipulated period of time. It also reduces human activity and makes us lazy and fat. While the big companies are making a lot of profit from it but the small sellers are the one who are suffering. Their customer base is reducing every day and they are finding it really difficult to compete with low prices which are being offered online.
